MURDERS IN COPENHAGEN

Denmark flag 2015The city of Copenhagen had an anxious night after gun attacks on the main synagogue, and earlier on at a free speech meeting in a café.

Two civilians were killed, one at each location, and five police officers injured.

The gunman was found and confronted by police, dying in the encounter.

mary-donaldson-princess.jpgDenmark’s Crown Princess Mary has given birth to a healthy boy and girl in Copenhagen, some days before the time generally expected.

The Princess, 38, nee Mary Donaldson from Tasmania, met her husband, Crown Prince Frederik, 42, during the 2000 Sydney Olympics.  The couple, who shared an involvement in yachting, married in 2004, and have two older children, Christian, 5, and Isabella, 3.
