EUAustralia Online was down for three days last week, 22-24.4.13, following a cyber attack that affected a set of websites maintained by our Internet Service Provider.
This was an untoward interruption, as responses had been running well; so apologies are due to all users; thank you for your patience.
We have been making checks and preparing to re-start; please expect resumption of normal service, and a set of new postings, in the near future.
The break-in, as it happens, took place in the lead-up to media freedom day, or World Press Freedom Day, celebrating its 20th anniversary on 3.5.13. The Day was proclaimed by the UN General Assembly following a recommendation by UNESCO, in support of the freedom of journalists to publish.
