Sarah West has spent the best part of her adult life travelling the world and building up skills to become a leading sports reporter.
Most recently that meant a reporting stint for EUAustralia where, amongst other things, Sarah attended the Tour de Flanders and covered the Paris-Roubaix cycling classic.
Sarah West says that after years of working in pubs to pay for her European adventures, thinking there had to be a better way to travel, she returned to Australia to gain a degree in journalism.
She has some interests in an area where there is clearly too much demand, war and conflict reporting, but is most attracted to world sport – with as her speciality, a passion for professional cycling.
Sarah has worked as a talk-back radio producer in Australia, and has piled up internships with Channel 9 and the ABC News sports desk.
In her spare time she loves to participate in cycling, enjoys good red wine, feeds the travel bug, and is forever trying to improve on her basic command of French language.
