The charity match between Manchester United and a European Union Eleven (EUAustralia, 12.3.07) drew the biggest crowd ever for such a football game at Old Trafford, 74.343. MU won 4-3. They were helping the EU to celebrate its fiftieth anniversary, and their own fiftieth in UEFA European club competition.
