Formula 1: Can’t Keep Him Down

The Australian driver Mark Webber’s (Red Bull team) win in the Hungarian Grand Prix (1.8.10), has put him ahead in the Championship points tally, the English driver Lewis Hamilton (McLaren) now trailing by four points.
He said it was good to be ahead at the commencement of the break in the schedule, after the last European race, but counselled: “we must not get ahead of ourselves”.

The centre-right Christian Democrats have had a hands-down victory at elections in Hungary (11.4.10), defeating the Socialist Party government of the last eight years. 
COMMENTARY: The 20th anniversary of the fall of the Wall was celebrated globally and commemorated for its international meanings, beyond the borders of reunited Germany. 
The contest for the European Parliament elections next month is proving not only quiet but hard to read, with again barely half the electorate expected to turn out to vote.
