Brussels Airport Hold-up: 30 Arrests

Brussels airportPolice in Belgium, France and Switzerland have detained over 30 people (9.5.13) in connection with the theft of diamonds at Brussels airport in February, over two days.They said at the start, at least one of those persons could have been among the gang of eight who drove up to a plane on the tarmac and took the parcels of gems, estimated to be worth up to US$50-million (A$51.8; xe.com, 27.5.13).
