kevin-07-paris-reduced.jpgWell over 55 000 Australians away from home have not escaped campaigning for the federal election set for 24.11.07 with supporters of the major parties canvassing hard.

In Europe polling stations are being set up at Australian embassies and Consulates General in 17 EU countries and three others: Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Sweden, Spain, United Kingdom, Croatia, Serbia and Switzerland.

All electors have the choice of sending in a postal vote, or doing it in person before polling day in Australia: the ballot boxes will be set up from Tuesday next week 13.11.07. (Opening days for pre-poll voting: 13-16.1.107; 19-23.11.07).
